I purchased these a couple years back to use while working out, running, etc. They worked well for a couple weeks before they began failing. The controls went first then sporadically the audio began to fail. Altogether I got less than a month of use out of them. Now, in Motorola's defense, I put these through some vigorous workouts and alot of sweating during cardio, but isn't that what these were geared for? Maybe the updated model addresses the issues.
