My 2 favorite apps are pdanet which I use as a modem for my laptop and beyondPod. I use these 2 apps on a daily basis.

I came across this thread not long ago and since I'm stuck with my Q for the time being, I thought I'd pass it along! A PPCGeeks member is mounting an effort to break open the Q to allow custom ROMs (and possibly even WinMo6.x) to be flashed to the phone. I won't pretend to know about the legality of the hacking, but it's still a pretty exciting prospect.
