  • Reception and call quality Average for a smartphone. Poor reception heavily drains the battery. so-so
  • Display Pen-Tile display is disappointing and whites are... basically green. Screen brightness is often at its lowest because of battery life. poor
  • Battery life Battery life is mixed. Usually lasts a little less than a day. Occasionally more, but more often it is less. poor
  • Camera Camera quality is poor, lacking in options. The only good pictures I've had it take are macros. poor
  • Ease of use No comments good
  • Design and form factor Svelte and premium feeling with Kevlar, Gorilla Glass and steel. great!
  • Portability (size / weight) Very light. Overall device is large in comparison to the screen size (large bezel). so-so
  • Media support No comments great!
  • Durability Surprisingly durable, survives drops. Gorilla Glass is at use, but still, the screen has some scratches. The metal housing scrapes, dents and scratches often. so-so
  • Ecosystem (apps, accessories, etc.) No comments great!

(This is a 2013 review. I've been using this phone for a year and this review reflects upon that year. Other reviews are probably less current)At this time, don't get the RAZR. It's two years old!
Consider the HTC 8X, Samsung Galaxy S3/S4, Motorola Droid RAZR (Maxx) HD, or the HTC Droid DNA if you are looking for a current flagship (or wait for Nokia's next phone).
For a mid-range phone, I suggest the Nokia Lumia 822 or the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
