I am taking a trip to Italy in a couple months and would still like to have the use of my phone but I do not want to buy a new phone but want to have the internet connection as well as the ability to stay in contact with the group I am traveling with. I am thinking of getting one of those pre-paid sim cards but am not sure how I might get one (while still in the states or if I should wait tell I get there) and who I should go with. Any help with this would be VERY helpful.

How do you add more icons for the group icon?
I really love this feature of ICS, it makes it easy to categorize apps and then have them on home screen. The problem I am having is that I want more icons to represent the folders other than the ones that are built into the OS.

ICS is out but when I do an update my phone it says it is up to date, what is up with that?
I see that I can FINALLY update my RAZR to ICS. When I do the update I get the response that the phone is up to date even though the OS version is still 2.3.6, is there something I am not aware of or Motorola and Verizon just yanking my chain?

Is the Motorola RAZR worth considering?
With the Motorola RAZR having recently plummeted in price to 2500 SEK (350 USD) and it finally getting ICS I am getting a bit interested in the device. The specs look decent but it's unclear to me how well ICS has been implemented on the device and there doesn't seem to be too much enthusiast support for the device (it doesn't seem to have gotten Cyanogenmod for instance), specifically the GSM version, perhaps due to all that locked bootloader nonsense.

Bluetooth remote control?
I have been searching for days for a specific product. I'm trying to find a simple, small, bluetooth remote control for a smartphone, and it doesn't seem like such a product exists.
I have a car with bluetooth phone support, but not A2DP, so I've purchased a Tunelink to get music and podcasts to my car stereo, and I love it! The problem is, I'm really not comfortable controlling my audio via my phone's screen. It's simply not safe to use a touchscreen while driving, and I'm driving all the time... Read more →

What smartphone?
It is time for me to upgrade my smartphone. I have a Palm Pre Plus. I really like WebOs. I live in a rural area, but visit areas that have 4g. Are 4g phones more fast in areas that have only 1g or 3g service. I will stay with Verizon. Suggestions, please. I have a Kindle Fire, so am fam. with that form of Android.

Does the droid razr have draft+N wifi and DLNA?
Some comparison sites say no, and online retail sites list the wifi as a networking feature for tethering. That it only has 802.11b/g.

Does Motorola Razr have HDMI?
Thought it did, just picked up the phone and I haven't played very much but it's not mentioned anywhere in the user manual.

What's your next phone?
I last asked this after Mobile World Congress back in February (http://gdgt.com/question/what-s-your-next-phone-g... but with the launch of the iPhone 4S and Galaxy S2 and now that the Nexus Galaxy, Droid RAZR, HTC Rezound, and Nokia 800 (among others) are on the way, it seems like a good time to see what everyone was thinking. Personally I have my eye on the Galaxy Nexus, though I am waiting to see which carriers (besides Verizon) end up offering it here.
