Motorola makes flashy consumer products. I'm finally ready to jump ship and move to Android, after several Blackberries. Our company account is with Verizon, so I'm only interested in their devices. What do you think, is the Galaxy S III such a superior device that its subpar battery life(in early reviews) is worth the sacrifice?
I want to get a device that will last the full 2 years without any regrets. Interested in opinions from current RAZR MAXX users especially.
There is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy S III has an impressive spec sheet. Even though the phone doesn't bring much new to the table, it appears that it will be competing with HTC's One X for the throne atop the Android mountain. One part of Samsung's new device has me less than impressed though. The device is a totally plastic, wholly generic, typically Samsung design. You can now buy a $109 kit that will let you convert a Motorola Droid RAZR to a RAZR MAXX using authentic Motorola parts (though the kit is listed as out-of-stock on the site that's selling it). The repair presumably voids your warranty, but it might be worth it if you want to double your Droid's battery life.
