I have AT&T with a grandfathered unlimited data plan but prefer Verizon's performance. I am using an iphone 3gs. Itunes frakked my music collection and I hate it. I need Exchange support, though we do have a BES in house. Security is the most important. Had a BB curve a couple of years ago it was SOOOooo Slow and I had to pull the battery so often, I installed the battery puller app.

What to do with a dead touchscreen?
I have a Motorola Milestone with a dead touch screen (after just 7 months). Quite disappointed. Did you encountered the same problem? What did you do?

iPhone 4S or Android?
I've had a droid since the day they were released, but now this Siri business is really grabbing my attention. Though i love the slide out keyboard on my droid 2, I'd be willing to learn to use a touch screen phone if it had Siri. What do you guys think? Should I make the switch?

Has the media experience on Android improved since 2.2?
So ICS and the Galaxy Nexus have me contemplating going back to Android for the first time since I sold my OG Droid back in January when the Verizon iPhone came out. These days most apps seem to be centered around the web anyways so I don't anticipate much headache switching most of my stuff over to Android. And I'll be keeping my iPad, so most of my iOS games and apps won't be going to waste. The one area where I remember Android giving me trouble though was with all my iTunes media,...

Best Android phone to buy used- Wifi Only, Kid Present
Looking for a cheapish android phone for a 5 year old who loves Angry Birds, Talking Tom, Doodle etc. Seems like I should be able to get something for less than $50 that I can install those games on (via my account) and let him have fun? I was thinking Original Droid but wondered if there were other options out there?

Why do phones have microUSB ports on the side?
Lately, I've noticed that a lot of Android phones have microUSB ports on the side rather than on the bottom. I find this to be a major hindrance when I need to use the phone while it's charging. Aside from the new Motorola devices that dock, is there a particular reason for devices to have this port on the side? Perhaps it's a physical design limitation on certain phones (both the DROID and T-Mobile G2 have it on the side and they are sliders)?

Is it worth waiting for a Google-Motorola device before upgrading?
I've been using a Motorola Droid for the past 2 years. It's starting to act wonky, and I have an upgrade. I've been wanting the Samsung Galaxy S II/ Samsung Function all month but there's no US release (press release is expected August 29th). I loved the RAZR and enjoyed the Droid most of the time I've owned it. Should I get the Samsung or wait even longer for a Google-Moto device?
Can I chain my bluetooth car stereo and my headset with my phone?
I currently have a Motorola DROID and Plantronics Discovery 925. I am getting a new car stereo with Bluetooth that supports A2DP. What I am wondering is if it is possible to connect the devices together in a manner that when listening to music it sends it through my stereo, and when I receive a phone call it works with the headset?

Droid back button not working, & other issues. Any fixes?
I have a friend who's Droid is in pretty bad shape. The back capacitive button doesn't work at all & the screen is constantly selecting things on its own. Is there any fix to this or is it pretty much done?

Just hopped on the Android bandwagon, now what?
I just bought a used Droid(Milestone), this is my first android device after coming from a Pre plus(...), any app recommendations, cool stuff to do with the phone, advice?
When are DROID owners eligible for new phones?
I know this is more of a Verizon question and that it all depends on when the phone was purchased, but I'm rather busy and can't find time to run to the store. My girlfriend bought her droid not long after its launch and suspects that she'll have to wait til about November (2yrs) to be eligible for an upgrade. I want to surprise her for her birthday by buying her her upgrade in August. I've been seeing Droid owners shopping around for new phones already (May-ish) and I'm wondering exactly how...

With BGR's recent report that the iPhone/iPad will be losing it's home button next generation, which is an exciting thing, and the press's…
reservation to buy a Verizon iPhone. Will you switch? I want to know if you think I should. I'm on a Motorola DROID, which I'm beginning to dislike, a lot! I have an upgrade available. I know for sure that my next device will be iOS, but should I wait until this summer? Should I wait until the iPad 2 announcement? What do you guys think?
Is there a way to change the volume settings when I'm using my bluetooth headset?
It will only go to 3/4 volume when the bluetooth headset is paired, as soon as the headset is turned off the phone volume goes up to 100%.
Anyone finding the audio jack to be problematic with the original Motorola Droid?
I have tried several earbuds and they all seem to pause audio playback if slight movement occurs where the earbud connects to the audio jack (brushing against a pocket, etc.) I'm considering going in and asking for a replacement, as this problem seems to be increasing in terms of the frequency in which it occurs.

I got Froyo a little over a week ago. On Friday my phone did an update and ever since then the gmail app has been crashing like crazy.
When gmail goes to sync it will crash giving me the option to "Force Close" or "Report". Anyone else experience this? I just did a factory reset a few weeks ago at Verizon's request due to my constant issues with reception/sound quality so I'm really hoping to NOT have to do that to fix this issue. o.O

Alright, I am sort of hitting a mental crisis. I have reached a point where my current MacBook does not work for what I do.
I am using Final Cut, iMovie, and The Sims 3. It is really chugging along. I am working on selling past possessions to save up for a MacBook Pro. However, I realized that if I become less relient on the computer, and delete MANY things from my hard drive, my computer can most likely make until next spring. I highly hope that Apple does not release a magical and revolutionary iPad upgrade, so we don't feel left out! Also within the next year, I'm hoping my DROID will not begin to feel...

Hey guys, I wanted to ask you all a question. I bought the Motorola Multimedia Dock a while back and just recently realized how dissatisfied I was with it.
The price was too high and it's just another glossy black electronic accessory. So, I started sketching possible designs for a dock of my own and began talking to suppliers. If all goes according to plan I will produce two variants of my dock, one made out of a lighter color wood with a stainless steel base and one made out of a darker wood with a darker metal base. Having to always search for my USB cable was a pain so the dock will feature an included retractable cable that is stored in...

Where's the Android 2.2 update for the Droid??
The last date I heard was "July" and we're in the home stretch - anyone have newer information about when we can expect a formal OTA update?
