We love the Atrix HD as a sub-$100 offering on AT&T, and can't help but marvel at what Motorola was able to deliver at that price point.

For $99.99, the Motorola Atrix HD is a great deal if you can live with its mediocre camera and short battery life.

If you can tolerate the not-so-great camera and the quick-draining battery, the Motorola Atrix HD is an excellent deal. Essentially, you get the high-end specs found in phones sold at double the price of the Atrix HD.

The only things that separate this phone from HTC's and Samsung's flashship devices is a pretty crappy camera, lack of NFC, and less-than-sublime design. That may be a deal-breaker for some. If those things don't matter to you so much, then at this price, it's a steal.

But while there are a few downsides to the Atrix HD, it remains one of the best phones I’ve seen at the $100 price point and one of the overall nicest Android phones on the market at any price. Motorola is onto something good here.

This device is the nicest looking and nicest working Atrix that’s been released in the history of Motorola’s Atrix line. It’s extremely similar to the DROID RAZR, is carried by AT&T with their 4G LTE network for data, and is ready to be your favorite Motorola smartphone yet.

If you don’t care about the Atrix HD’s middling camera and battery life, or its design flaws, go ahead and pocket this phone, along with the $100 extra you would have spent on AT&T’s higher-priced offerings.

Donning such a stellar price point, there’s no questioning the kind of value it has to offer consumers, but it’s been too handicapped to distinguish itself as a superior device to Moto’s previous efforts.

The thing worth keeping in mind with the Atrix HD is that all of its features come at $99, a realty that puts the device’s downsides in perspective. Moreover, when you compare the Atrix HD to similarly priced phones on AT&T ... its hard to find a better deal.

The Motorola Atrix HD is by far the best Atrix we've come across, and that's thanks to the nice display and very fast dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. However, the poor camera and lack of a select few features makes us love the handset a bit less.

Despite the camera not being up to par to the top phones on the market, it is hard for us to give a bad review of the Atrix HD because the phone worked really well. Plus, its price makes it even sweeter.

Motorola’s new smartphone feels inexpensive, but concessions clearly had to be made somewhere in order to hit that magic sub-$100 price point. As terrific as the display is and as enjoyable as the user experience is, it’s not a bad trade-off at all.

For someone looking for a smartphone in the $100 price range, it's pretty tough to beat. For that price you get a 720p display, a speedy Snapdragon S4 processor, and the closest thing to stock Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich that you can find on an AT&T smartphone.
