Detailed review
Love the "squiggle" pad or whatever you want to call it. If you don't like the iPod circle (like me) check the Zune out: takes a bit of getting used to, but is well worth your time if you're willing. While I love the idea of sharing music with friends via the wireless, it doesn't really come in all that handy; sure if there were more people running around 'in the wild' with Zune's, it would.... but there aren't. Battery life leaves something to be desired (and is strangely but notably worse on the 120 vs the 80) but the crisp screen almost makes up for it.

As for quirks, there are a couple of random things come to mind that bug me: Two disc or more albums are handled well in software but poorly on device. In the software the tracks are in proper number by disc order, but on the device the tracks go in 1,1,2,2,3,3 etc format. One software glitch that is pretty annoying is that when you have the "Premium" graphics turned on, video podcasts will sometimes stutter back a bit -- and to make matters worse, if / when it starts happening it just gets worse. Easily avoided by having the graphics turned all the way down to "Basic", but, really? Come on Microsoft. Oh, and another random but really frustrating mistake by Microsoft? The Zune software will run on XP or Vista, but if you run a 64-bit system it ONLY runs in Vista and as far as I know, there is no work around for that. On the other hand, I absolutely love how podcasts are managed in the software.
