Though I like the Zune HD, I'm not willing to downgrade to 64 GB. Not willing to go back to the clunky iPod Classic either. Would be OK with the iPod Touch, but Jobs didn't see fit to upgrade their capacity last fall, so they're still stuck at 64 GB as well. My options seem to be: a) Buy a used Zune 120 b) Make do til September and hope that even if there's no 128 GB Zune, there will be a 128 GB iPod Touch Anybody got anything else for me to consider?

my only complaint with zune is the lack of aftermarket accessories (car hook up options). do you guys think microsoft will do anything to make the phone more universal so they can be used with docking stations/car radios etc?
It just has that sort of chunky super squared look and the interface is so much more visually pleasing compared to an iPod's. Doubt it will be easier to use though?
I haven't yet, but I was talking to my boss the other day, he saw my Zune HD, and we starting talking about it. Turns out he has the 8gb Zune and his kid has the brown brick Zune. After showing him my Zune HD, I pretty much sold him on upgrading his kid's Zune 30 to the HD. Felt nice to find another Zune fan out there IRL, but I hope to one day find someone I can convert over.
And they also immediately go to mention the "genius" (yeah, right) as the main reason why. I wish they'd do some research, cus' they would realize how much better the Zune software is at any of those tasks than iTunes. But I also realize that they have to suck up to Apple, god forbid Steve hears them say anything negative about Apple and black-list's them.
I probably subscribe to over 20 podcasts in the Zune software. I'd say the Zune software handles podcast pretty well, but one thing that sucks is that if you reinstall the Zune software, say after a reformat of Windows (I do this periodically), you have to put all of them back in one by one. The ZuneHD dock is listed as compatible with the Zune 80/120. Question is, can I use the ZuneHD dock to output video from the Zune 80/120 via HDMI? I don't care about whether it's HD or not (obviously it's not).
Any good deals on the Zune 120? So far, the warmest one seems to be from the Zune store, $230 with free A/V pack. It does feel kinda steep for something that's already discontinued, but I can't seem to find any better deals. PS: Please don't say "Oh I got mine for $xx cheap" if the deal is not current anymore. No point in bragging.
I thought when the Zune HD came out, and Microsoft announced end of life for the non-HD models, that there would be a fire sale on these items. This does not appear to be the case. Strange, no? I was hoping to pick up a cheap Zune 120...
My Zune 120 updated this morning with 3.2(35) this morning. 3.2(34) was the version that launched with Zune 4.0. Most likely bug fixes but it would be nice to know what this did. Zune device updated just fine here.
I thought with the release of 4.0 and the HD, Canada was supposedly getting the marketplace and Zune pass subscription to bundle in with xbox 360 integration.
Hi ,anybody know how to make zune support the enhangced AAC like ipod do? I subscribe the Engadget and gdgt podcast in iTunes and get the download folder monitored using Zune software to keep the podcast synced with my Zune120 . I synced the same podcast to my zune and ipod touch ,the ipodtouch perfectly display the podcast bookmark/chapter picture , but Zune can only display the original podcast artwork This is the only thing i feel bad about zune as my primary audio device , visual stuff helps...

I really wish Zune would let you continue playing where you left off from a shuffle. For example, I primarily just set one of the headings (artists, albums, genres, etc.) to shuffle when I'm listening to music, but in the mornings it's too early for music so I'm usually on podcasts. The problem is when I go back to music I have to start the shuffle over again, and invariably I have to skip through a whole bunch of songs I just heard last time I listened to it.
