About

Microsoft's second and third iteration of it's Zune HDD-based PMP. The device comes with a nice set of features which include video playback, games, wireless syncing, and radio. While the Zune has been criticized as attempting to knock-off the iPod, there is actually enough of a difference in the UI and feel of both PMPs to make said claims negligible.

The method of control is through a touch-sensitive "squircle" pad that acts and reacts much like a notebook's mouse trackpad.

Songs can be purchased from the Zune Marketplace over WiFi as well as from the software. Users may mark songs heard on the integrated FM radio for purchase later. Unlike the iPod it can be used with a subscription based music service.

Currently this model comes in two sizes; 80gb and 120gb.
