I haven't yet, but I was talking to my boss the other day, he saw my Zune HD, and we starting talking about it. Turns out he has the 8gb Zune and his kid has the brown brick Zune. After showing him my Zune HD, I pretty much sold him on upgrading his kid's Zune 30 to the HD. Felt nice to find another Zune fan out there IRL, but I hope to one day find someone I can convert over.
I probably subscribe to over 20 podcasts in the Zune software. I'd say the Zune software handles podcast pretty well, but one thing that sucks is that if you reinstall the Zune software, say after a reformat of Windows (I do this periodically), you have to put all of them back in one by one. Until Microsoft stores your subscriptions "in the cloud", I hope, I have a really simple method to make this less annoying next time you need to reload podcast feeds into Zune, or any...

My Zune software was upgraded today, and now I get an error when I try to sync it. I get a Read Error, to unplug it and try again. Is anyone else having a problem since the software upgrade?
I have wireless turned off. It doesn't give any warning, it just gives up. Most of the time when this happens, I go to turn it on and it's dead. I usually shut the player off and then lock it. When I pop it in the charger, it shows that the battery is depleted, but before I turned it off, it was 80-90% charged. This is really annoying, especially when it happens at the gym or out running. I don't want to carry around a backup player. My mix of use is 90% audio podcasts, 10% video....
I am looking at getting this, especially the first version because they are selling it for under $20 at Amazon.com now. I have a 50" 720P TV and wonder/how good or bad the picture looks?
I love the form factor of my iPod shuffle (small, durable, clip-on) for walking and such -- I often don't have pockets available. However, I'm getting sick of iTunes and loving the Zune software. Anybody know if there is any news concerning the Marketplace for Canada. I love my Zune but am tired of the fact i can't use the zunepass feature. Microsoft has kept mum about this despite multiple questions!
I am normally an apple iPod guy but it is costing me way to much to keep it filled. So I was thinking of picking up a Zune and getting the Zune pass but before I do, I have a few questions first. 1. To download new music do I need to do it through a computer or can I do it through the Zune on wifi? 2. What quality music can I download? Can I get lossless? 3. The 10 songs I get to keep are they DRM free? 4. If I don't pick 10 songs this month, do I get 20 songs next month? They accumulate? 5....
What do you think some of the features are going to be on the 4.0 OS? Personally I would like easier purchasing of Zune Pass songs. I don't want to have to go to the Marketplace and find the song that is already in my collection to remove the DRM. I know there is probably a lot of room for improvement so I hope that somewhere a Zune software developer is going to read this and get some ideas. Of course Mac support would be nice too. I have a Zune 8 and I havn't had any problems with it. It's never not worked, still have plenty of left over memory, the screen is alittle small but the overall device is small, wich is good. The battery life is not incredibly long but it works. I've never had any problem with mine, I was wondering if anyone else has?
