Since I have all three OS versions I have had time to test each in its own rights.(Disclaimer I do not have WP7 but a Zune HD) but WP7 isn't quite a major contender yet in the phone market and the Zune interface is where I think it shines the most. The problem is, I have a macbook that dual-boots os x and ubuntu (that I don't want to put windows on) and a netbook (Mini 10) that dual-boots ubuntu and windows 7. I had the zune software when it first came out, and I remember it being quite laggy and heavy on my main machine. Will I have a problem running it on the netbook? Are there any other similar services out there that will work with either os x or ubuntu? Thanks.
I haven't yet, but I was talking to my boss the other day, he saw my Zune HD, and we starting talking about it. Turns out he has the 8gb Zune and his kid has the brown brick Zune. After showing him my Zune HD, I pretty much sold him on upgrading his kid's Zune 30 to the HD. Felt nice to find another Zune fan out there IRL, but I hope to one day find someone I can convert over.

Updated my console, bought some videos from the PSN Store, watched the videos and then, when trying to back out of Folding at Home a few hours later, discovered my console had locked up. I probably subscribe to over 20 podcasts in the Zune software. I'd say the Zune software handles podcast pretty well, but one thing that sucks is that if you reinstall the Zune software, say after a reformat of Windows (I do this periodically), you have to put all of them back in one by one. Until Microsoft stores your subscriptions "in the cloud", I hope, I have a really simple method to make this less annoying next time you need to reload podcast feeds into Zune, or any...

my top 5: 1. doesn't organise music folder 2. native audiobook support 3.optional bookmarking on files 4. deleting files from software doesn't remove it from playlists 5. cant edit files from playlist view. have to go and find it in the library
Ive noticed that every time i close my zune software, it saves the now playing list from my last session. I hate having to always go to the now playing, hit CNTRL+A to select all the songs in the now playing and then delete them. Is there a way to either quickly clear the list, or set the software so that the list will clear when you close the software?
I really love the mini player mode of the new Zune 4.0 software but is there a way to quickly switch to it rather than having to use the mouse to minimize it? It just seems so slow using the mouse...
Not too much is known about it, so what do you think will be in it or what do you want to be in it? Getting all excited about picking up the Zune Hd my ipod has had it and im willing to give the Zune a go. The thing that worries me is the software.
