defiantly the minority, i remember passing by one in a best buy like early 06 and me and a friend were like "man that's amazing I want it" i managed to get one three years ago, (after a good paycheck, and some two beer decision making in a sports bar next door) i got up the courage to spend the money but i'm glad i did. this was the clearest screen in a media player I had seen though that time and still continues to be. THE SOFTWARE SUCKED AT FIRST, but with the uptades that have made it more easy to use (the software) (and firmware later) in this case has improved dramatically since i first started using it. it took me about a day and a half to arrange all the artist with the album art and song titles . but i love my device even more after doing that. i have dropped my zune many times bouncing off concrete and tile floors obviously it resets after that occasionly but most of the time it just keeps moving along. . and the battery life has started to suffer the more videos i watch, more podcasts because i watch them daily. but still it stands the test of time
