You can play the best first person shooters (FPS) available on this machine; Halo, Gears of War, you name it. Fun system to have. Watch DVDs and stream Netflix movies. Soon to come: Facebook, Last.fm, and Twitter. Aside from the the expensive accessories, this is a solid product. XBOX Live is one of the best online gaming system I've ever used. Lets you see which of your friends are online or last time they were online, what they were playing, and voice or text chat with them. If you want to play popular games online, then there is no better option.
