Microsoft advertised on the box for this that it would be compatible with windows based PCs. Well over 2 years later it still doesn't work and Microsoft says that they will not support it now. I prefer this compared to the PS3's keyboard since this lights up at dark when being used and feels more natural to type below the joysticks. OK, so I know Sony supports USB keyboards and they have their own (absurdly expensive) mini keyboard--but I think Microsoft nailed it with this one. I have all 3 gaming platforms and have the chat pad for the Sony PS3 and the Xbox 360.
