I am planning to buy a console and I am confuse between the console wars. I have experienced a X360 before since its a hit in my town and seriously no one owns a PS3 here. The reason I am confused is the distinctive features of PS3 like bluray player and exclusive FIFA Interactive World Cup mode in FIFA series on PS3 version. I like the PS3's Blu-ray capabilities, but I'm also a big fan of Kinect, And no, buying both is not an option right now. And I'm aware that a third-generation Xbox is to be announced at E3.
I got an xbox 360 mw3 limited edition bundle from Amazon not too long ago(i love it!). I'm thinking of getting the Kinect, but after browsing some sites I saw that there r rumors of the Kinect 2. I'm confused......should I wait or go for the Kinect that's already available? thanks!

I have this and it works great. The ear cups flip back so you can talk to someone in the room and hear them. The mic can be installed on either ear cup and there are volume and mute controls on the cord and one mute all button on the left ear cup.
I bought one but the chat/gaming dials on the cord don't work properly. Has anyone bought one and used them?

Found an offer for a very reasonably priced xbox 360 slim ( sub $150 (AUS)). Should I make the dive or wait till the next round of consoles (720)? your opinions would be very welcome as would your speedy reply :). Also how much would a hard drive upgrade cost? Regards
In the previous version of the dashboard, you could change the wallpaper from the Profile menu but that option is now gone. I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find a setting for this. Is it possible that it's been disabled? I hope not because when I updated the dashboard, it carried over the wallpaper that I previously set but it's not something I want to be permanent.

The new dashboard update is out and includes lots of new features. One of those features is the ability to store copies, or even move outright -- your game saves from your console hard drive to cloud storage. You get 512MB of free storage space. I've been playing around with it for a while now as I was on the Preview program, but I've not been able to figure out how to move/copy ALL saves at once to the cloud. I have a PS3 but my wife and I want an Xbox 360 primarily for Kinect. I also get the added advantage of console exclusives like Halo and Gears -- joy! Anyways, I haven't found any great holiday deals yet. Target and Best Buy are giving away $50 gift cards with the purchase of specific bundles, but that's about it. Is that the best deal I'm going to get? Or should I wait around more for something like Black Friday, or do I pull the trigger (no pun intended) now?

I just bought Final Fantasy XIII (brand new) and when I inserted the disc into my Xbox 360, I kept getting a disc read error message. At other times, the Xbox would recognize the disc as a DVD. Sometimes it would load, but it would stay stuck on the Square Enix logo.
