- Ease of use Windows Mobile 6.5 was a significant overhaul of 6.x, it was much more usable with base functions than earlier versions, but occasionally you still had to use 6
- Speed It wasn't surprisingly fast, nor was it surprisingly slow, 6.5 was an OS that depended on hardware for speed.
- Configurability While 6.5 fundamentally brought in changes that made it much more usable than earlier versions, any useful configurations were dependent on ROM cookers.
- Ecosystem (apps, drivers, etc.) The WM 6.5 ecosystem used to be pretty good, but app support has dropped, and Microsoft recently closed the WM marketplace.

Detailed review
Windows Mobile 6.5 was good enough that it could be used as a day in, day out OS without getting overly frustrated. The start pagewas a pain, as while the honeycomb layout was nice, the inability to order apps in any meaningful way seriously detracted from it. The lock screen handled notifications well, and at least if you only had to deal with notifications, basic phone features and your apps of choice, it generally stayed out of your way.
