  • Ease of use Easy to get used to, but its a change from previous Windows, so it will take time to get used to. good
  • Speed Boots up faster than an MacBook. This is where Windows 8 shines. great!
  • Configurability Easy to install, not just perfect yet with customization. good
  • Ecosystem (apps, drivers, etc.) Billions of apps, and you know it. Just not all of them are specifically for Windows 8. It runs Windows 7 apps and drivers. great!
  • Openness Not too open source, because they're Microsoft, they have their prestige. good

It's a little harder to get used to, but its very smooth and runs very fast.

Good to hear, I just hope it's as good as windows7 at least, I hated Vista, had nothing but trouble with it. :)
