- Ease of use Switching apps is a little none intuitive and trying to slide the bar over to see all the apps open takes some learning to get right
- Storage capacity Only have 64GB as the max storage is not enough
- Design and form factor Very well design with good build quality and gap control. Everything feels well built in your hand
- Portability (size / weight) With the touch cover on it weight just a little to much to use one handed comfortably. With it off it still is a little heavy for long periods of time.
- Durability So far it seems to be built like a tank and get take a good beating and repeated drops.
Detailed review
The hardware design is great but I am getting a lot of slow down while using it. 3-5 seconds to switch between emails, 3-5 seconds to delete an email, and apps take a while to load such as accueweather. Website can take awhile to load, engadget takes over 30 seconds to load up.
It's a fully functional tablet but when your use to apps just opening and zipping through your emails it just becomes frustrating to use. Using an iPad back to back with a Surface and you can really feel how slow things are to use on the Surface.
Hopefully Microsoft can address the slowness in key apps like Mail and the web browser, until then I will be using my iPad as my primary tablet.
