DOD CAC compatibility with Windows RT
details
I'm looking to replace my current netbook with an all-in-one tablet. I'm concerned that my USB Common Access Card (CAC) reader won't be able to verify my DOD inside the ARM system. Has anyone proved that this would be possible? This is the ONLY reason I'm leaning to purchasing a Surface Pro. Perhaps I can do this within Windows RT and save myself all the extra wait and money associated with the Pro version.
