I want to start graphic designing and i also want the new microsoft surface rt and I was wondering if adobe illustrator would work on it.
I'm looking for a new tablet that can be useful for some word processing and viewing Microsoft Word documents, and came to a conclusion that a Wndows 8 tablet / hybrid is what I need, because it has full MS Word support. I was looking at the Surface from Microsoft itself, but I also need a 3G-capable device so I can use it anywhere. I don't live in a country that has 4G LTE networks, so that's not important for me. Is there any Windows 8 device with support for 3G connectivity? And if it has an...
I'm looking to replace my current netbook with an all-in-one tablet. I'm concerned that my USB Common Access Card (CAC) reader won't be able to verify my DOD inside the ARM system. Has anyone proved that this would be possible? This is the ONLY reason I'm leaning to purchasing a Surface Pro. Perhaps I can do this within Windows RT and save myself all the extra wait and money associated with the Pro version.
I was just looking at the page with the specs ( http://gdgt.com/microsoft/surface/for-windows-pro/... ) of the two different Pro-version and noticed something strange: the 64 GB version has Bluetooth, but the 128 GB version doesn't. Does anyone know why the 128 GB version hasn't got bluetooth? It's not a super big deal, but it would be sort of nice if I could use my Apple Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard with the Pro-version.
Will the battery for this be removable / replaceable, or will the Surface be 'disposable' in that it'll be easier to replace the device rather than buy a new battery?
Perhaps a stupid question: The Surface Pro are running on Intel i5, so the graphic is HD 4000? And will the Surface Pro have WiDi? I just love my Samsung 7-series with Belkin Screencast to my AV receiver:)
sorry for this noob question but will i be able to program using this? can it run visual studio 2012 flawlessly? how about sql servers?
I'm guessing not as only USB installation would be possible and I'm assuming it won't allow booting from a flash drive. But otherwise, will it be possible to downgrade the OS/expose the startmenu/desktop?
