Microsoft's SideWinder X8 isn't the only mouse that can swap seamlessly between wired and wireless modes; however, between its BlueTrack sensor and its on-the-fly macro recording capability--not to mention a competitive price--we imagine few PC gamers won't want to get their hands on...

I have been using this mouse for almost a week now, and there are some things that I like and some things I don't... I'll start off with the things that I like: 1 - I love the main button clicks! I used a Razer Deathadder the other day and within 20 minutes had 5 accidental clicks. In...
Read the full review →The Sidewinder X8 is a continuation of a popular Microsoft line of gaming mice. This edition, however, is the first to use the new BlueTrack technology that purports to work on surfaces as varied as granite and carpet just as well as on a mouse pad. While it may not be possible for me to explain...

Adding macros is simple as can be, whether directly with the mouse or using the software. Best scroll wheel I've ever used, and it has very nice left/right tilt action Bad: No texture whatsoever...
Read the full review →I am going to be making a lot of comparisons between the G700 and the sidewinder X8, this is because I believe the two to be the closest competition, both being large, desktop gaming mice at a price point of around £55, they also both have tilting scroll wheels, which I feel is a must have for any...

Very Gaming specific as well, with customizable macro buttons and what not. Great buy!

I also enjoy that this mouse...
Read the full review →I went from the Logitech G7 to this mouse. I loved my G7 until it started to act up. I went and replaced it with this mouse. It took me awhile to get used to. For the first month it was painful, as it gave me pains in my hands. Soon after I got used to it and it feels great. I I feel I went a...

Read the full review →I bought this last week and returned it today. In Windows the mouse worked well enough, though I did notice mild drop-outs at high dpi. On a Mac, however, the mouse was useless. Slowly sweeping the cursor down the screen would have it jump several pixels every second or so. There were times I...
