It's wireless, of course, and its form factor lends itself perfectly to being slipped in a drawer or under a monitor, or discreetly tucked away if paired with, say, an all-in-one PC in a kitchen or living room. And in those instances, the Arc Keyboard is a pretty attractive, if somewhat pricey...

While the small footprint of the Microsoft Arc makes for a great portable keyboard we aren't so sure about the whole package. Some will immediately read that to mean that we struggled to get to grips with the arc/curved design and that has therefore tainted our view of the overall experience.

It stores conveniently and maintains a low profile. The Arc Keyboard weighs less than a pound and measures less than an inch thick. Upon closer look, it is evident that there were aesthetic design considerations made in creating this keyboard.

The Arc Keyboard is a pretty little thing, and it would make an attractive addition to a seldom-used computer or netbook. If you’re looking for a keyboard for everyday computing, however, I would stick with a full-sized version.
