The bottom line: The MEElectronics M6 earphones are a great value for bass-addicts, thanks to solid sound quality, a rugged design, and plenty of features.

In the M6 earphones, MEElectronics was admirably trying to create a pair of earphones that both look and sound far more expensive than their very low price. It has been pretty successful in creating a beefy low-end, but trying to pump-up the treble has resulted in a sound that's harsh and fatiguing.

I imagine the MEElectronics M6 earphones sound as good as most earbuds at their modest price point, and probably better than some. The big surprise for me was their comfort... I think most people would enjoy the M6 earbuds for use with their portable electronics
