This review is only for the IP Ready model as I have not bought the standard USB version as yet. Bought this as I was looking for a network solution to backing up our family laptops automatically, without each person having a USB drive hanging off each laptop. This drive has exceeded my expectations and my back-up simplicity needs for us. The included software is a little tricky but not complicated. Simply create a user account for each person and set up back up schedules.

Hanging additional USB2 drives off it is easy (I have one WD 500gb attached) with its two USB2 ports that it automatically recognizes and assigns drive letters - or you can raid them.
