Despite the poor battery life I have found many uses for this device. I needed to find the corners of some remote property we own and this unit did the trick. By knowing the coordinates of one of the corners I was able to do some measurements in Google Earth and another mapping software and...

This device has been with me everywhere. Used in my truck, hiking, geocaching and some search and rescue missions. Has held up over the years and is my work horse GPS. Will be sad when it finally goes to the big GPS heaven in the sky.
