The Zone Touch Mouse T400 from Logitech combines a traditional mouse with some touch elements. Instead of the whole surface being touch there is only a small area in-between the two buttons. The glass touch zone supports gestures for Windows 8 and Windows 7.

Although the Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400 is a good all-around mouse with a handsomely minimalist and ambidextrous design, its low profile and somewhat basic gesture control functionality keep it from being the quintessential Windows 8 mouse.

The Logitech T400 Zone Touch Mouse is a decent mouse that's an improvement on previous touch-enabled mice, but it still doesn't quite replace the need for a touchscreen.

It is a great mouse. It is not tiny or big. The software is not polished yet but Logitech promises updates. One odd thing is that some gestures, like scrolling, are interpreted in one way on Chrome for example and it is total opposite on Excel.
