Being a web developer/entrepreneur, conference goer, and public speaker, a mouse that is easy to transport is necessary. With the tiny USB dongle that you can leave plugged in and the slick carrying case for the mouse, it's simple for me to remember to bring the Logitech VX Nano wherever I go.
I do game occasionaly as well (if i can't get near a ping pong table) and have found the responsiveness in strategy, first person and third person shooters, and platforming games to be more than adequate. Much better than my corded and Bluetooth(TM) Apple Mighty Mouse.
You must buy this mouse if you have a laptop! :)
