It lasts about 1 - 2 minutes, and when it happens I had to use the trackpad instead. Besides, this mouse are using 2 AA battery so to those who used to wired mouse would feel significantly heavier to control it.

of these two, I'm leaning more towards the V470, but the 1200 DPI sensor on the Targus caught my attention. Any feedback is appreciated, Thanks in advance

It works even if you dual boot your computer
Got mine yesterday and am pleasantly impressed. Didn't install Logitech's software but it worked fine nonetheless. Here's something that surprised me... My Mac has Windows XP installed using bootcamp. I set the mouse up on Windows and it worked fine. Then I rebooted my machine on Mac OS and didn't have to set it up at all because the machine transferred the settings to Mac OS somehow. It started working as soon as the desktop appeared. Took a while to get consistent connection
I am running Windows 7 RC on my Inspiron 13. It would connect but lose the connection every time it went to sleep and I had to re-connect, which sometimes worked and others did not. I was about to give up; and then decided to install the software that came with it (yeah, I know, duh). It is a slick bit of logitech goodness and now it connects almost 100% of the time, even coming out of sleep. When it does not, use the logitech (i keep a shortcut on my desktop) and it is quickly working. Nice...
