Logitech's innovative Ultrathin Keyboard Cover manages to pack great typing into a keyboard that's thinner than the iPad itself.

If you use your iPad as a virtual laptop and want a real keyboard you can take anywhere without adding a lot of bulk, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard gets the job done, and lives up to its name. Because it really is ultrathin, though, this case/keyboard combo doesn't provide a lot of protection for the iPad, and some people may find the keyboard somewhat cramped. If you're in that camp, you may want to consider the slightly heavier, more protective, ZAGGFolio. Either option beats trying to roll your own with a separate Bluetooth keyboard and iPad case.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is just as light and sleek--and functional--as the iPad itself.
Read the full review →Though it doesn’t offer much protection for the body of your iPad, it includes a solid keyboard, and its clever, Smart Cover-like design allows it to remain thin and light ... The Ultrathin is svelte enough that if you do serious typing on your iPad, you may want to carry it with you all the time.
Read the full review →Logitech's Ultrathin Keyboard Cover might be the best keyboard accessory ever made for the iPad, if you're looking for a highly portable and functional keyboard that travels light; just make sure you carry a separate protective case.
Read the full review →If you want a solid, low-profile add-on keyboard, the Ultrathin Keyboard Cover delivers, and it does so stylishly. And for that, it gets our recommendation.

Read the full review →Overall, I am very happy with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for my iPad 3. It’s easy to use and looks great on my device. I still think my previous keyboard is a great device, but my new Logitech keyboard has forced it into retirement.
Read the full review →The Logitech provides a better keyboard experience but the hinge does mark up the iPad. That said, the Logitech affords a better workflow and I grabbed it nearly every time I needed to use my iPad over the last month.
Read the full review →The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover will complement the look of your Apple iPad, adding a discrete, yet comfortable, Bluetooth keyboard in a slick aluminum package.
Read the full review →Logitech has created something unique with this cover. Its use of magnets sets it apart in a world of folio-style keyboard cases, and makes it the thinnest keyboard cover available with such comfortable typing. If you don't mind leaving the iPad's back exposed ... this is the iPad keyboard to get.
Read the full review →This is my new favorite iPad keyboard—it’s well designed, less than 12 ounces, and infinitely handy thanks to the function keys. It’s the whole package.
Read the full review →Apple insists the iPad isn’t just a content consumption tool but one that can be used to create as well; if text is your game, then the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Case should be your weapon of choice.
Read the full review →It's comfortable to use and the docking groove and angle the iPad is supported in allow you to operate effectively. But ... The magnets should be stronger to hold the cover on better, and we don't want to be able to feel the letters on the keys either.
Read the full review →If you’re willing to leave the back and sides of your iPad almost entirely exposed, you’ll find that it delivers a very good typing experience, and impressively uses magnets for both stand and lid purposes.
Read the full review →There are many iPad keyboard covers on the market, but the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is definitely the one to rule them all. It’s a superbly designed accessory that’s very stylish ... and quite simply offers the best typing experience on any 10-inch tablet.
Read the full review →If you’re heading away for a trip, and like me, prefer a detachable keyboard cover, the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover is both a good looking and a practical option.
Read the full review →The ultimate convergence of laptop and tablet might not be here yet, but products like the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover are making it easier to blur the lines every day. Combining the protection of Apple's Smart Cover and the typing ease of the Apple Wireless Keyboard into a wafer-thin cover is...

Read the full review →The Logitech Ultrathing Keyboard Cover is a great product that combines a keyboard and a cover in a very slim package. For its simplicity, ease of installation, and quality, it earns the Bjorn3D Golden Bear Award.

Read the full review →After using Logitech's Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for a few days, I'm not sure there is any other portable iPad keyboard I would recommend. It's not perfect -- it's not as tactile as a proper keyboard, and the iPad is clearly not optimized for use with a keyboard -- but when you take into account...
Read the full review →UPDATE: I can no longer recommend this product since the keyboard scratched the screen of the iPad. The space where the iPad would dock made a mark on the screen and you can see clearly where it is on the screen. I'm pretty sure that the cause of this problem is the magnet getting weaker which...
Read the full review →There isn't much to say except that this is a great keyboard. I think this should be a mandatory purchase for all those people complaining that an iPad is a consumption device and not a creation device. With this keyboard, you will never want to use your archaic laptop again. The iPad becomes...
Read the full review →This is the best keyboard for portablity, which is the purpose of the iPad, I have found; however, I personnally will not be using it as a cover 100% of the since I don't need a keyboard 100% of the time. I actually only need a physical keyboard 30-40%; however, when I need on I need one and this...
Read the full review →The ultrathin cover is slightly thinner than my ipad 3 -- which is pretty amazing, given the way it holds the ipad up. Charging is done through a micro usb plug, reducing the number of different cables I have to carry around. The bluetooth connection activates pretty quickly after I unlock the...
Read the full review →I had originally wanted to buy the ZaggFolio Keyboard Case, but finally settled on this keyboard for my iPad. I like that it's not a "case" per-se, but a cover and can easily be removed when you don't need it. I have a few other cases I like to use in different situations, and this keyboard will...
