Solid product, and you can remove the ball to clean it if necessary (I've seen where some trackballs cannot be removed, and therefore are nearly impossible to clean. So far so good.

Okay, I'm really doubting it here, but is it worth the extra $10 or so for the cordless? I can imagine I'll be spending twice that in a year for batteries, but has anyone used the cordless? Think it's worth it?

After signing about 5 different petitions and numerous suggestions on Logitech's forum I am more than depressed that we are still only able to buy this old technology and not something a little updated. I don't see how a revamp of the product would be that hard.
