After doing battle with an Apple Mighty Mouse which eventually died on me I got an MX Revolution to replace it.
details
It's the nicest mouse I've ever used - comfortable and precise with excellent button positioning. My only criticism is the rubberised coating on the right-hand side started wearing off soon after I got the mouse and as a result there's a growing shiny patch.

We appreciate our gdgt Live sponsors coming out to our events to meet the community face-to-face and support us. Most of them are on the site now too.
details
If you're going to the Chicago event (or even if you're not)... What are you stoked to see from this group? Who are you psyched to meet with? What do you want to ask them? I'll follow up w/ a 2nd group soon.

Linux
details
Anyone know if this mouse or others like it will work with linux on my computer. obviously windows and os x will support it out the box but I'm a bit of a noob with linux still and I wasn't sure if the proper drivers would be there to support it or if i'd have to find some and install them myself. forgive me if this is a totally stupid question, thanks!

Comparing the MX Revolution to the new Performance Mouse MX
details
I've been a long time user of the MX Revolution, having bought one right when they were released... 2,3 years ago. So when the Performance Mouse MX (http://gdgt.com/logitech/performance-mouse-mx) was released I was very interested - the competition between these heavyweights of mice is very close. I did a side by side comparison in video form - any thoughts? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWJ1AyP5i44

Bluetooth Version?
details
I have found this mouse to be extremely comfortable. it has a nice balance to it. I don't like the wheel in the thumb space but I could probably live with it just fine. Would anyone else be interested in a bluetooth version of this mouse? I hate using up USB ports for a wireless mouse. To me the cord doesn't always bother me, but wasting USB ports does.

Scroll wheel not spinning freely anymore? Here's how to fix
details
When my scroll wheel stopped spinning freely, I was disheartened, as I really enjoyed the feature for very long webpages. Looking around online, it seems many others have had the issue. There are usually two reasons why it happens: 1) You have a piece of debris or residue stuck inside against the scroll wheel, keeping it from spinning properly. 2) The rubber strip in the middle of the scroll wheel has come loose a bit and is rubbing against the wall The first issue can easily be fixed by... Am I the only one who's mouse broke?
details
My first one broke, so Amazon sent me a new one. Now this has broken. I've had it for a year and a half and the plastic on the right side has come off, and the scroll wheel has jammed up. Am I the only one? I can't say I've treated it badly. In fact, I'm quite obsessive about having clean hand (since it's pretty essential for my iPhone not to get dirty, too)...
