It's the nicest mouse I've ever used - comfortable and precise with excellent button positioning. My only criticism is the rubberised coating on the right-hand side started wearing off soon after I got the mouse and as a result there's a growing shiny patch.
I think my laser is going out. I've had my MX for a long time now, probably around 2 years.
I've never dropped it, and it's been well taken care of. Just the other day, the mouse started tracking very poorly. Also, when I lift the mouse from the mouse pad, the pointer moves up the screen. Anyone having similar issues?

We appreciate our gdgt Live sponsors coming out to our events to meet the community face-to-face and support us. Most of them are on the site now too.
If you're going to the Chicago event (or even if you're not)... What are you stoked to see from this group? Who are you psyched to meet with? What do you want to ask them? I'll follow up w/ a 2nd group soon.

Logitech wireless gaming keyboard/mouse
Just built my second gaming pc and I'm looking for a really good wireless KB/mouse combo. Are the Logitechs any good? I've looked at some of them and some others like Razer's offerings but I can't really decide. Any suggestions?

Linux
Anyone know if this mouse or others like it will work with linux on my computer. obviously windows and os x will support it out the box but I'm a bit of a noob with linux still and I wasn't sure if the proper drivers would be there to support it or if i'd have to find some and install them myself. forgive me if this is a totally stupid question, thanks!

Comparing the MX Revolution to the new Performance Mouse MX
I've been a long time user of the MX Revolution, having bought one right when they were released... 2,3 years ago. So when the Performance Mouse MX (http://gdgt.com/logitech/performance-mouse-mx) was released I was very interested - the competition between these heavyweights of mice is very close. I did a side by side comparison in video form - any thoughts? - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWJ1AyP5i44

What to get after Mouseman?
Hey guys, I've got the mx revolution, but am thinking of eBaying it: the scroll wheel is annoying to middle-click with and I actually enjoying using the mouseman more. Anyone have a good wireless mouseman-esque mouse they can recommend?
Skatez or whatever they're called
The pads under my MX Revolution are getting kinda worn out. And I haven't been able to find any replacement skatez for it. Does anyone know where to find these "Skatez"?
Buy the Logitech MX Revolution?
I'm thinking about buying this mouse for college. Seems like a pretty good mouse, at least when I checked it out last. I would have bought something like a VX Nano, but it is too small for my hands, so I prefer a full sized mouse. Thanks for your opinions.

Bluetooth Version?
I have found this mouse to be extremely comfortable. it has a nice balance to it. I don't like the wheel in the thumb space but I could probably live with it just fine. Would anyone else be interested in a bluetooth version of this mouse? I hate using up USB ports for a wireless mouse. To me the cord doesn't always bother me, but wasting USB ports does.

Scroll wheel not spinning freely anymore? Here's how to fix
When my scroll wheel stopped spinning freely, I was disheartened, as I really enjoyed the feature for very long webpages. Looking around online, it seems many others have had the issue. There are usually two reasons why it happens: 1) You have a piece of debris or residue stuck inside against the scroll wheel, keeping it from spinning properly. 2) The rubber strip in the middle of the scroll wheel has come loose a bit and is rubbing against the wall The first issue can easily be fixed by...

Am I the only one who's mouse broke?
My first one broke, so Amazon sent me a new one. Now this has broken. I've had it for a year and a half and the plastic on the right side has come off, and the scroll wheel has jammed up. Am I the only one? I can't say I've treated it badly. In fact, I'm quite obsessive about having clean hand (since it's pretty essential for my iPhone not to get dirty, too)...

UberOptions: to really get the most out of this amazing mouse!
Since the day I got this mouse, I have been using UberOptions with it. This little addon allows you to program buttons that by default you can not. It also adds some great options for each button. The link is http://www.mstar.net/users/rlowens/
