While it's pricey, the Logitech Harmony Touch is one of the easiest-to-use, most powerful universal remotes we've tested.

Logitech's latest Harmony universal remote is an upgrade to the Harmony One, with a redesigned touch screen and new button layout. Functionally, it's not radically different from the remote it replaces; you still program it using a computer and Logitech's massive device database, and it can still control up to 15 devices simultaneously. Laptop Mag calls it a "nice improvement" over the Harmony One, though Laptop felt the Touch was more limited than other modern remotes, since it can't learn your viewing habits or "help you share your viewing experience with friends" over social networks. Mashable calls the Touch "a terrific upgrade" to the One, though the site points out that, with its high price, "this type of remote isn't for everyone." Given that the One is still available, and can currently be purchased for as little as $165, the older model may be a better choice for now. But act quickly; it's been discontinued, and may not be available much longer.

It's very comfortable, easy to use and adds some neat gestures. For those who want to consolidate all their remotes into one, the Harmony Touch is one of the better options.
Read the full review →The Logitech Harmony Touch performs its main duties well, and the addition of a touchscreen is a welcome idea. But its lacking design and ergonomics make this remote’s high price hard to justify.
At $250, this type of remote isn’t for everyone, but if you have lots of devices and want to better control how they work together, it’s a great investment.
Read the full review →It really does make a huge difference, and it’s such a lovely object that even if you have an older Harmony remote you might be tempted to upgrade — you can even migrate your settings. Once your family uses one, the idea of futzing with half a dozen remotes gives you cold sweats.
Read the full review →Logitech’s newest remote controls sits comfortably in the middle of its product line-up. The Harmony Touch is more than capable enough for most home theatre setups, but setting it up is more complicated than it needs to be.
Read the full review →On a market that doesn't exactly get revolutionised every year, Logitech has made a stunning comeback with the Harmony Touch, a universal remote control that comes at a price, but has the functionality to back it up.
Read the full review →Logitech has once again proven its mastery of the universal remote. The Harmony Touch may not be perfect, but it's close. It's an extremely handy home entertainment companion with loads of advanced features that are easy to set up.
Read the full review →The rechargeable dock is another nice touch, but there is no denying that this is a very expensive remote control, and it doesn't quite manage to make the high price tag worth it.
Read the full review →If you want a remote that can replace your myriad of existing remotes on the living room table and seek a quality device, Logitech Harmony Touch is indeed a good choice – as long as you do not use the advanced features on a daily basis.
Read the full review →Now there is the question of whether buying a $249.99 remote control is actually worth it. If you only use a couple remotes then the answer is probably not. But if you have a large assortment of devices, the Logitech Harmony Touch remote does make controlling your home theater equipment quicker and...
Read the full review →This is my 4th Harmony remote (8800, link, harmony one) and in my opinion this is the best one so far. As usual the setup is the very worst part of the experience, it is difficult to believe that something that costs this much money has such a horrible user experience for something as important...
Read the full review →This is my 5th Harmony remote and replaces my Harmony One which has been relegated to the Bedroom. This is my updated review following a couple of months of use. I am glad to see the return of the 4 coloured buttons - I never did get used to the touch screen replacements on my Harmony one. But...
Read the full review →If you have a Harmony One, only buy this remote if you absolutely have to have the latest and greatest. There isn't that much difference to make it worth buying. If not, however, this is an outstanding remote. It is incredibly simple to program via the computer. I have a Mac and it was fully...
Read the full review →If you need great remote control choose this. Ok, it's a bit pain to set remote up first time (because of USB-cabels and web-app), but after that it is a great device.
Read the full review →I have used the 885 and One before this. I am happy this upgrade is wortwhile. You can migrate settings, but I setup fresh. The new web interface for setup is alot better. I like the button layout, but am still getting used to the playback buttons being located north of the touchscreen. I...
