  • Ergonomics Feels comfortable in the hand. Decent UX. Buttons are laid out in a consistent pattern. good
  • Device support Software updates are non-existent and the configuration software to set up the remote is from 1991. Awful, indeed. awful!
  • Battery life Can't seem to leave it off the cradle for a day without the battery dying poor
Detailed review
If I had to do it over again, I definitely would look past the Logitech Harmony One. The remote itself is nice looking and ergonomic. However setting up and modifying the remote's configuration is a NIGHTMARE due to the old and buggy software that Logitech provides. It seems very outdated and support for newer drivers/software is way, way overdue. It's so frustrating to use that I stopped using it. I'm back to holding and switching between 3 different remotes.

You and I are the only one's who see the incredible flaws in this thing... I wonder if GDGT felt they needed to have a top remote to recommend and since the One is so popular and nice looking, they gave it a Recommended. WTF?

Couldn't agree with you more ColinR. I actually got a newletter email from GDGT yesterday and lo and behold the first product they recommend is this piece of junk. I thought they were goading me on and waving it "in my face". Just good timing I guess :P
