I thought I wouldn't care for the G9’s redesign, but I actually found it comfortable and easy to game with. The range of DPI selections was impressive, but I found myself settling into a specific sensitivity setting and staying there regardless of what game I played.

Expensive, overly complex, and lacks the ergonomic thought we've come to expect. If you like to brag about dot-per-inch limits, perhaps the G9's 3,200dpi laser will be enough to sell you, but for the price, we expect the design to match.

There are other, more stripped-down, more attractive options, that offer just as much in terms of comfort and performance. But just think of all the different configurational choices you'll be missing out on.

In the end Logitech has produced another brilliant mouse, although it's worth checking out both this and the G5 to see which fits your hand (and your budget!) better. Either way you're bound to be very, very happy with the results.

As with the G9, the seams between the G9x’s removable shells and the main mouse body get pretty crusty over a long period of time. But everything else about this mouse—from the braided cord to its pair of thumb buttons—is awesome.

If gaming is your thing and the PC is your king then the Logitech G9 is your one stop destination for gaming domination. It's well designed, well featured and incredibly versatile and as such comes highly recommended.

For a pro-gamer, or someone equally obsessive about their online shooters, then the price may not be too high to have your favourite macros enabled in-game.

In the end we can't do much else than recommend the G9, as it's yet another excellent product from Logitech, but it will be up against some stiff competition once Razer, Microsoft and SteelSeries launch their new gaming mice.

The G9 sets the bar a bit higher as far as gaming mice go these days. With its fully customizable hardware and software, gamers will surely appreciate it slew of options, and the price is more than justified for the gamer willing to go headfirst in the G9′s advanced features.

The G9’s sensor, like the G5’s, is precise and perfect. The only real flaw that this mouse exhibits is its claw-friendly design. We just don’t think that this grip-style is very popular.

The G9 is a fantastic mouse, which won’t be a surprise to most people who have sampled a G-series mouse before. We like the new design, and the increased DPI is actually a bit too accurate, but we found a happy medium in the easy-to-use software.

I absolutely love this mouse. I was originally using the MX Revolution which is by far the most comfortable mouse I have ever owned, but I was running into issues with what appears to be the RF cutting in and out. So I purchased the G9. My criteria for a mouse was corded, "gaming...

If we disregard that one of the main features of this mouse (five configurable presets) cannot be used because Logitech made no application for Mac OS X, this is one of the best mice I had.

The shells have a gummy coating on them that scratches or tears off with a little agitation after a couple months of use. I would say this wouldn't be a problem if I could replace them, but I have had zero luck finding any OEM replacement solution, and it makes the product look almost tacky and...

This mouse works well for gamers, and those who have to do precision work for long periods of time, and just want comfort. I enjoy this mouse for everyday use, and it has the buttons for games as well.
