I mainly use the Logitech G3 for graphics work rather than gaming. Precision level of the G3 is magnificent no matter what kind of surface it runs on (apart from glass top where it would not work). The large glide pads also provides smooth as silk movement across the table top. The main drawback is the two buttons on both sides of the mouse. Although it is useful as navigation aids while browsing the Internet, it is very easy to mis-click them while doing work. That said, I really prefer the classic shaped G3 rather than its ergonomic upper class siblings. It would be great if the G3 could get their netted connection cable though!
