Detailed review
I have been using this keyboard for about a year now, and I have been very pleased with it. It has proven itself an ideal compliment to the laptop that lives in my entertainment center (plugged into my TV for use as a media center). There's nothing all that remarkable about the functionality. It works the way you'd expect a keyboard to work, but that in itself is more than can I say about some other wireless keyboards I have used in the past. Its greatest strengths are that it always just works and it is stylish enough to leave sitting around on the coffee table without nerding up the living room. The touchpad could use a little work. It is conveniently located where it can be used while holding the keyboard in both hands (like when you're standing, and as opposed to resting the keyboard on your lap). However, scrolling with it takes a little getting used to, and it doesn't seem to support gestures of any sort. I wouldn't want to use it in an office / productivity setting, but it works fine for my purposes. I have never had any problem getting it pair with its included USB BT dongle. Of course, connecting that way does mean there's no way for the keyboard to wake the computer from sleep, which would be nice. The charging base is designed so well that I almost always leave the keyboard on the charger when I'm not using it, but in the times where I have left it sitting out for a few days, I've never picked it up and found the battery to be dead. The keys have a nice feel to them, and there are enough programmable hot keys to get by. Overall, if you're willing to spend a few extra bucks on style, I would definitely recommend this keyboard for use in a media center / home theather pc type setting. It's clearly intended for that setting, and it doesn't make much sense in others.
