If you just want a solid general purpose mouse, get the Logitech Anywhere MX.
Read the full review →Conclusion: We like it
Logitech's wireless Anywhere Mouse MX may be designed for portability, but it's also one of the best desktop mice we've used. Its tracking technology allows you to use it on just about any surface; it's designed for both comfort and portability; and power users will find no fewer than seven programmable buttons. While Logitech's larger Performance Mouse MX is also a solid choice, the Anywhere Mouse wins our recommendation for its portability, ergonomic, symmetrical design, and low price. For $40, the Anywhere Mouse does everything the $70 Performance Mouse does, and still fits comfortably in your laptop bag.

It's definitely one of the best travel mice we've used, and the fact that it has better trackability with Darkfield means you won't need to bring a mousepad along with you.
Read the full review →The bottom line: The Anywhere Mouse MX bears Logitech's multiconnective Unifying receiver and glass-tracking Darkfield laser, but $80 is too much for a portable mouse--especially when the Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 costs half the price for almost the same features.
Read the full review →The Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX is an attractive, effective and cleverly designed wireless mouse for use on the go. With plenty of innovative features and the ability to work on pretty much any surface, this product can warrant its relatively high price tag.
Read the full review →The largest drawbacks are the lack of wired operating and the imperfect gliding traits of our test unit. The very good overall impression remains almost undimmed and thus we can recommend the Anywhere MX as a mobile notebook mouse.

Read the full review →Overall, a very very solid mouse. It is a bit pricey, but if you hate mouse pads this is the mouse for you.
Read the full review →Absolutely hands down the very best mouse money can buy. I've had two of these in the past year (I have different laptops), and I've also recommended this mouse to friends and coworkers. All agree. It simply works very accurately on just about any surface including most glass. The only...
