Conclusion: We like it

If you take notes on paper, but still want to preserve them digitally, you can always scan everything periodically. Or, you can use the Livescribe Sky Wifi, which takes all of your notes, along with synced audio recordings, and uploads them to Evernote via WiFi. You can then access your scribblings from anywhere with a computer, smartphone, or tablet. The Sky Wifi isn't cheap, and it requires special paper that sells for about $9 and up (though you can print your own with the right laser printer). It's also thicker and heavier than a typical pen, so it's worth trying out first, especially if you have small hands. But it beats scanning -- or hauling a laptop to every meeting or class.

While the core functionality of the Sky wifi remains as impressive as ever, the buggy integration with Evernote needs to be ironed...

Should You Buy It? If you can afford it, absolutely. This will revolutionise the way you draw, sketch, take notes and interview. As a journalist, I don’t know how I have gone this long without it. For the price you’re paying, though, you’d want to use it every day.
