Evernote is supposed to have great filing and OCR, can it be used with a livescribe.

Some of the fine folks from Livescribe stopped by gdgt HQ yesterday to talk to us about some of their latest gadgets, demo software, and discuss their future plans. It was the first time I've actually gotten to use one of their smartpens and I was quite impressed. If you finish a number 1 notebook and start another number 1 notebook does this continue on from or overwrite the last number 1 notebook?

Still no sign of the NoteSlate. After seeing the Echo in the Best Buy add and checking reviews here, it sounds like it might serve the same purposes with a lot more flexibility in addition to some audio features. Any thoughts on this from those who have used either or both?

My regular work-cycle to is take notes in regular notebook with a ball-point or gel pen, then scan the notes using my flatbed scanner to pdf or jpeg file formats, and importing the files into Evernote, possibly merging several pdf files into a single multi-page file before import. How well does the Livescribe pen do this? I understand that I'd have to buy/make specialty paper and notebooks to make full use of it. How does the import process into Evernote work?
