The Spectrum 2 is a solid midrange smartphone with some good features, including wireless charging, a 4.7-inch HD display, and support for Verizon's high-speed LTE data network. For its price, the Spectrum 2, according to PC Mag, "gets you the largest display for your money, along with plenty of power, solid battery life, and a good camera." CNET concurs, saying that, with a "winning combination of a reasonable price tag, wireless features, and solid performance, the Spectrum 2 is an excellent Verizon handset in its price range." However, Laptop Mag offers the caveat that "what makes the Spectrum 2 a good but not a great deal is the lag that sometimes creeps in when performing basic tasks, as well as the below-average battery life." Nevertheless, Laptop calls it "a very capable midrange Android phone."
