Some design issues aside, the LG Quantum is a solid Windows Phone device with a spacious QWERTY keyboard for messaging fanatics.

The LG Quantum's QWERTY keyboard will win some users over, but Windows Phone 7 needs to cope better with landscape mode for a keyboard to be a great experience.

The LG Optimus 7Q is just too heavy and large to recommend.

It proves itself to be a decent offering as it accentuates all the core aspects that Windows Phone 7 radiates. Is it by chance a quantum leap over existing devices? Clearly no. But it still personifies a well rounded experience that offers the additional convenience factor of a physical keyboard.

Would I recommend the LG Quantum? Yes, yes I would. It's as solid a smartphone as any on the market, though it's not a quantum leap forward.

Unfortunately, the lack of a decent notification system, multitasking, cut and paste, and a horrible flash on the camera will turn a lot of smartphone shoppers off of the LG Quantum.

The LG Quantum is a solid phone with a really good slide out keyboard. The phone is fast both on data speeds and when running applications. The weight of the device is a bit much for me, and the rubberized finish left a lot to be desired, but your mileage might vary.
