Conclusion: We like it
LG's NB3520A is packed with features, including 300 watts of power, great simulated surround sound, a wireless subwoofer, and Bluetooth connectivity, yet it sells for a fraction of the price of competing soundbars. What HiFi says that, compared to basic TV sound, it's "more than a just step up – it offers a quality and authority that’s very impressive." Home Theater Review says it's "a very worthy upgrade to your HDTV's internal speakers." The speaker's biggest downside: No HDMI inputs; you'll have to channel all audio through your TV's optical audio port, an analog port, Bluetooth, or USB. And the lack of HDMI means it doesn't support audio formats like Dolby TrueHD or DTS HD. But, as What HiFi says, it offers a "deep and detailed soundstage" and is "worth every penny" of its $269 price.
