Works great for the low cost unlimited calling and texting! Now I want to hack the phone so I can use the other services that MetroPCS has to offer especially the internet part. I got this phone after looking to change from my LG Dare to the original LG enV. I wanted the enV because it was just... the PERFECT phone. It had everything I wanted, calendar, notepad, alarm clock, great call quality, good camera, great battery life and a full qwerty keyboard. I am thinking about getting this phone, but from some of the reviews i've seen on youtube and the ones i've read, it said that the phone lags quite a bit. especially when texting too fast. for example, a video review on youtube said that if you are a fast texter using the qwerty keyboard, it takes the phone a second or two to catch up to what you are typing... Are there any special features in the enV 3 that a first time user should take advantage of? I don't really read user manuals, so I was wondering whether the enV 3 has any unique features I should be aware of and use.. thanks.
So I bought this phone from Verizon about 2 weeks ago after I decided I couldn't afford the monthly iphone bill. It is a pretty slick phone, I just wish it had voice recorder so I can record some notes to remind myself later. I am a big fan of that feature in phones and very disappointed that this guy can't do it. You think verizon could make an update OS to include that feature? I dunno, just wish it did it. ...waymon
