I've been using this machine a lot more than I expected, and would like to squeeze some more performance out of it. I'm currently running with the 7,200 RPM drive, and considering going SSD.

Why is wireless so slow in Ubuntu 11.04?
I installed Ubuntu 11.04 on this machine and so far it looks like it is working well. However, wireless adapter is extremely slow. Is it powerful enough to handle Sims 3?
I bought x120e (with E350) online and I am waiting for it to arrive. Normally I don't play any games at all, but I was wondering whether I could play Sims and Need For Speed with this machine. I'm pretty sure it can handle older versions of these games, e.g. first Sims and NFS 5 (Porsche), but what about Sims 2 or 3, and other NFS games?

Should I get an X120e or a Samsung Chromebook?
I will be getting a new laptop soon (right after my current dell mini 10 finally dies) and i was wondering if i should get a ThinkPad X120e or the Samsung Series 5 (Chromebook). If I get a X120e i could always dual boot with chrome os so what do you think?

I'm debating between the x120e and the up and coming x220 from Lenovo. Someone convince me one way or the other.
I have a Dell Mini 9 that I'll be upgrading. I figure either will be an improvement. The one thing I did like about the Mini 9 is that it was so cheap, I never worried about breaking or losing it. However I must admit I wish it had more horsepower.
