Detailed review
I ordered mine with the Core i7, and 8GB RAM and 256 SSD drive.

The design and form factor are excellent. This is a true ultrabook in size however its performance equals what you would expect from a ThinkPad.

The screen is very bright for a TN panel, but it is not up to the standards of the IPS display that Lenovo puts in a few other laptops. But it is very good and exceeded my expectations.

The battery is slightly better than I thought. With brightness turned all the way up, and wireless on, I get 5+ hours easily. And the saving grace here is the Lenovo RapidCharge. From a dead battery, it will charge to 80% in about 35 minutes. Simply amazing! Making it perfect for those in-between meeting times, or while waiting to board a plane.

Be forewarned that the X1 Carbon Touch is not upgradable in anyway. The RAM and HDD are not upgradable. So I recommend upgrading to the 8GB and 256GB SSD options when ordering.

One other thing, there is no Ethernet port. Be sure to purchase the USB to Ethernet dongle when ordering.

Overall, this is a great laptop. I was hesitant to spend nearly $1700 without first reading a bunch of actual user reviews, but I am now so glad that I did. I can't say enough good things about this laptop. It is by far the best laptop that I have ever owned.
