Conclusion: We like it
With its fingerprint reader, durable shell, and excellent keyboard -- not to mention its premium price of abut $1,400 -- the ThinkPad X1 Carbon follows in the long ThinkPad tradition of high-end laptops for business travelers. To its practical business features, Lenovo has added a fast solid-state drive, keyboard backlighting, and a svelte design that makes this one of the lightest, thinnest Ultrabooks available. It's not perfect: there's no HDMI (or VGA) port; you'll have to use an adapter with the Carbon's Mini DisplayPort instead. There's no Ethernet port either, though it comes with a USB-to-Ethernet adepter. Despite these issues, the X1 Carbon may be the best business-class Ultrabook available, and well-heeled consumers won't find it lacking either.

I was hoping for an IPS or full HD but this is fine. Stays very cool when working on it and pretty quiet. Sound could be better, but what can you expect from an...
