This was my fist Lenovo / IBM laptop and I was impressed. I ran Ubuntu 11.10 and had no installation issues. Everything worked 'out of the box' including the Simple Touch screen. Battery life was fine (around 2 hours on a used battery) and keyboard, trackpad usability was as good as the reviews...
