We love the Yoga 11 for its keyboard, display and long battery life, but it might have more use if it were running full Windows 8.

Conclusion: Wait to buy
While Lenovo's 13-inch IdeaPad Yoga is one of the better Windows 8 laptops currently available, its smaller sibling is less attractive, since it's based on Windows RT, which means it's limited to apps designed for that platform. Like the larger Yoga, the 11-inch model is well-built, and boasts what PC Advisor calls a "streamlined design" that is "highly portable and comfortable to use in both laptop and tablet modes." PCA also likes the Yoga 11's "impressive battery life." Pocket Lint also likes the Yoga's battery life, and says it "sure does deliver plenty of successful ideas within its well-built, 'magic-hinged' laptop-meets-tablet design." However, Pocket Lint points out the Yoga's "inevitable limitations" due to Windows RT, especially at its original UK price of close to $1,200 (the price has since come down, both in the UK and the US). If the price stays down, and Windows RT proves viable, the Yoga 11 may well be worth looking at. Otherwise, the upcoming Yoga 11S, which adds Windows 8 to the mix, may be worth waiting for.

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a great laptop alternative that's unfortunately too bulky to completely replace your tablet.
Read the full review →The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a good Windows RT convertible to have around if want a tablet-like experience, but absolutely need a keyboard. Its flips and acrobatics help usability, but ultimately this a laptop with a good mix of tablet functionality.
Read the full review →The Yoga 11 has a unique, easy-to-use design and a great keyboard. The Windows RT and its dwindling app selection, however, will make me wait until Lenovo decides to release a full Windows 8-equipped 11-incher.
Read the full review →Whilst I was already disappointed with the Surface, I was hoping that the Yoga might focus the Windows RT proposition on something new and exciting. It fails to do that in every regard.
Read the full review →The nVidia Tegra processor means that the Lenovo Yoga 11 is only a modestly powered laptop, but it’s still perfectly adequate for routine tasks such as web browsing, running Microsoft Office or relaxing with some streaming video.
Read the full review →If money were no object then we'd be fairly smitten by the Yoga 11. The price does buy a quality construction and a decent HD screen, but it's still a little too wallet-stretching for it to score better overall.
Read the full review →The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 has a lot going for it: it's slim, helpfully transforms into a tablet for watching video more comfortably and has enough juice under the hood for most of the everyday essentials. Sadly, it's just far too expensive.
Read the full review →While the Yoga 11’s stamina and design have a healthy allure, the limitations of Windows RT, not to mention the paltry selection of applications in the Windows Store, severely hamper its potential.
Read the full review →The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11 is a nifty device in itself, but it's not as fun as Microsoft Surface, and unless you're looking for a work laptop that doubles as a nifty tablet to watch films on, we'd advise forking out for a more expensive Sony Vaio Duo 11 or the more portable Microsoft Surface.
Read the full review →It has its advantages, but it never really takes a clear position between the two and simply does not represent the best of both worlds. Windows RT limits what the Yoga 11 can do as a laptop, and the weight and keyboard limit what it can do as a tablet.
Read the full review →Windows RT can't run Windows 7 apps, so this won't be a main computer for those who need Windows 7 apps like Adobe Photoshop or iTunes. On the bright side, it requires fewer Windows updates and is less prone to viruses and is an excellent mobile companion and second machine.
The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 11 has a very unique construction and in terms of design alone is perhaps one of our favourite hybrid devices out there now for this reason. However, we feel the Yoga 11 is severely held back by Windows RT, rendering it half as useful as it could be.
Read the full review →Before I had this device, I had an Asus Transformer Pad. Although I liked that, there was not a proper office app that delivered like Microsoft did with their office apps. I wanted a nice looking laptop, that could also function like a Tablet. I know that Windows RT does not completely make this...
