Instead of putting their own custom Linux build on the tablet as initially planned it looks like they're going to use Android instead. http://www.tabletpcreview.com/default.asp?newsID=1... I love this concept and hope it comes to fruition.

Would you still get the IdeaPad U1 Hybrid over the iPad?
Apple just announced the iPad. Discussions have risen whether people would buy the iPad. Prior to the Apple announcement, I was seriously considering the U1 to replace my Asus EeePC 900. However, the iPad made me reconsider this decision. I would not line up for the iPad.. I'll save money every month until I have enough to purchase. Meanwhile, i would like to check out the U1 if it works better or performs to my computer needs. I asked this question to see what others think?

It LOOKS amazing. I WANT it to BE amazing. But DUAL OS's means I will be thoroughly confused from one minute to the other. Unless you guys think I'm wrong.....?

Gawd! What a sweet idea, (if it works well)
I can't wait to see a hands on review, cuz this idea seems like the ultimate combo. I'd be all over it, if it is.
